My Dealership SUCKS!!!!!!!!!

Wouldn't you like to know...
So I had a blow on on my right rear tire the other night around 1am driving home on the interstate. I got out to change the tire and one of the lug nuts broke on the stud and I couldnt get to it. So I called a tow for free (thanks lincoln!).

However, the tow truck guy broke my rod when he secured the car down on the flatbed. He told me he would cover the costs of repairs and an alignment.

I called Lincoln dealership at 7am right as they opened to tell them what happened and get them to repair everything and get me a new tire as well as perform my 30,000 mile service with the exception of the air filter and cabin filter because I just put a k&n drop in and had the cabin filter changed before i bought the car. The service rep told me he would call me back within an hour with an estimate.

Well 10am rolls around and still no call so I call them and they havent even moved it into the shop. So at 1pm I go up there and start to get a little pushy (not rude...yet). They finally call me at 4pm and tell me the cost for a new tire. Also they tell me the tie rod will be in the next day so they will keep the car overnight.

So today the tie rod comes in and my wife goes to pick up the car. She is ignored by the cashier who is making a personal phone call. She stood there for 3-4 mins and wasnt acknowledged. So she finally says something and they girl continues talking. Then she gets done and the bill is like $675 give or take. She questions it and they were charging me for the tie rod, install, and alignment when it wasnt supposed to be charged to me. She gets that corrected and the service rep came up to see what the problem was and he got very condescending with her. So she let loose on him and made a hell of a scene.

So she brings me the receipt to my work and I am looking at it and they performed service on the car that wasnt authorized. Granted it was free scheduled maintaince but I specfically asked them not to do this. They threw away my k&n filter which was 1 week old.

So I called back and made them go dumpster diving for it. Literally they had already taken all the garbage out to the dumpster. HAHAHA!

So I WILL NEVER return to that dealership. I called Lincoln customer care and filed a complaint with them. I will follow up with the service manager on Tuesday when I go in to get my filter. I guess I will have to go to my Ford dealer to get my free maintaince done now....

That sounds about right... thus far the dealership I used to go to out here has left both tools and parts in my car and taken an unreasonable amount of time to fix what in my mind is an elementary problem. Personally I think they are too busy to do the job right the first time with all of the cars I see flowing in there first thing in the morning.
 
its things like this that make my job a living hell. i myself try my best to fix a car right and on time and fallow the cust. request to the t . on the other hand you have people that dont give a crap about weather the cust is taking car of or if the tech gets told what repaires where requested.then you have to deal with the office people.they dont care either.pride in a person job seem to be slipping. hope you find a dealership that will take care of you.
 
i had the same problem with my lug nut on my car.. the key broke it.... so i had to buy one of those broken nut remover things... for like 60 bucks.. took it off in the parkin lot and then returned the broken nut remover.. lol...
the next day I took all the key lugs off and put normal ones on
