As some of you guys know, on Feb. 17, 2009 We lose our house and all contents in a fire. Our house was built in 1843 all stone construction.
It was devastating. But today we got the blue prints of our new house thats going to be built on the same foot print, after the house is demolished.
Here are some pictures of the fire damage and the blue prints of the NEW HOUSE. The old house was 1,850 sqft. The new one will be 3,040 sqft:D

Plans look good!

Any idea what caused the fire?

I havent been here that long and had no idea. So sorry for the loss of the things that cant be replaced but the new place will be very nice.

What caused the fire?

Is the newer better house gonna cost you or just the insurance company?

Hi Joey

The way it stands now, The insurance should cover the whole re-build...If there are some unforeseen issues, We will get a mortgage for 30 or 40 grand.
The great thing is, Our stepson is the contractor, So he is building us a $500,000 house for around $300,000!!:D

Guess that cloud had a silver lining. Im sure it was tough going through everything you have the past few months. Hope everything turns out ok.

the new house looks great you should post some of the floor plans
must have been sad to see the old house come down
