Well I'm not finished with it yet but here are some before and after pictures.


Man Furniture

I'm planning on a lower shelf underneath and then a raised shelf above the work bench, then some pegboard on the back for tools. This will likely be where I build the switches once it's finished as well as tinker on car stuff and whatever else.

I did find that it is hard to build something square out of lumber that is not, but I was utilizing old lumber from the homemade shelves that were here when we moved in.

haha i wouldnt want to sleep between giant "wood" everyday. thats a great picture though
 
Looks good! but since you used 2X4's, I think it would be a good idea to anchor the legs together with another 2X4. Just a suggestion, it would be more stable if you but heavy stuff on it. I know it's over kill, but I used to build commercial cargo trailers, I can't help it! LOL

I've been told that by a few people, for the moment, I'm going to leave it because I'm only working on small things, if I ever decided to throw a transmission up there, I'll consider reinforcements then.
