so i got my LSC last May, then in Dec. one of my friends picked up a '99 Solara SLE, and this past week my other friend got an '01 Prelude.....and here are some pics..... .......

I think they should have made the Solara rear wheel drive with a V8.

uh oh some harsh words for the little ones lol........the prelude actually does have a full exhaust already, they traded it in with it........and believe it or not its not loud .........sound nice.........

I bought a Prelude to toy around with at one point. Nice little car, it will outbrake and outcorner a mark VIII anyday, but straightline performance isn't all that great, and good luck trying to pass someone on the freeway. Btw those things are not as easy on gas as they seem, the prelude takes premium and I think I averaged like 1-3mpg more at most with that car than with my mark. But boy is it fun ;-)

of corse it will out corner a Mark isnt that considered a sports car where as the Mark is a luxoury car damn i may have spelled that wrong but oweee well lol

oh yeah none of us knew what kind of grade it used......so he put $10 of 87 first.........that wasnt good.......lol ........then i read its compression ratio was 10:1; still with 91, compared to the Solara and my LSC its gas mileage is crap..........a honda on premium .......who knew........

Hmmm. My reaction is "Nice trio of coupes." The amazing thing is the Lincoln does not look substantially larger then the other two.

I'm curious about cornering though - we ran a ride and drive using the Seville STS and the Lexus LS 400 for comparison at the Sebring raceway in 1993 for the Mark introduction. Due to the dynamic air suspension, we were lapping significantly faster in the Mark. Anybody have any old Road and Track or Car and Driver data? It would shock me if a rear drive front/mid engine car like the Mark wouldn't go through the cones significantly faster then the Prelude and Solara.... and pull more lateral G.
