here is what i picked up thursday night. its a 96 silverado x-cab, 350 auto captains front buckets with center console, power everything ice cold ac. has a custom dual exhaust a k&n cold air intake, brand new tires. 147k miles this thing runs and drives mint, needs nothing except things i want to change myself, like the tail lights were some clear euro things i put stockers back in, i grabbed spare door handles since they are known to break left and right, put a temporary pioneer head unit in until i am ready for a full blown stereo. when i get my taxes this year i am putting a fabtech 6 inch lift in it and some 35's on the stock wheel and a harwood cowl hood, retint the windows, and a nasty system and thats it, thats all i am doing. its a clean truck i love it, very happy with what i bought.

With trucks I only like chevy/gmc with cars I don't care. But I am a chevy truck guy thru and thru.

my buddies brother works for an aftermarket truck parts dealer. he gets major discounts on truck goodies, so he is checking for me this week on hos cost for a pro comp 4 inch and a 7.5 inch lift for the 1500 xcab 88-98 chevy's i'm gonna do this when i get my tax check is slap a lift on it and some 33's or 35's. i'm gonna order pre-runner foberglass front fenders for it too and remove the front bumper and replace it with a tubular pre-runner bumper and some off road lights. i have always wanted that pre-runner look and this is the perfect truck to do it to.
