Hello all! I've had the chance to drive an 02 LS v8 for the past two years and have fallen head over heels. That being said, after my last repair, the dreaded thermostatic valve, I've developed this... itch. An itch only upgraded suspension and a 4.2l supercharged engine can scratch . Before I go in depth with my wild purchase last week, as well the hair brained idea, I'd like to know where my build forum should be posted. Also, do we have measurements on the STR front subframes yet? I've looked but found nothing. Below would be my lil monster in the making.

I have had both cars and I would recommend that you shop for an STR. That car is WAY more than just the 4.2L SC engine!! Have you driven one yet?

I loved my 2003 LS but the STR is a big step up. The worst thing about the STR is they came with an open rear diff because of Ford. Crazy that a 400 HP car has an open diff!

But it comes with the 6 speed ZF and better build quality by far! But please consider this point? Ford has killed the LS a LONG time ago and parts are just not there. You can see this very easy by how dead this forum is.

Jaguar parts will be expensive BUT Jaguar is much better at keeping parts alive.

In fact a good portion of the LS/S-Type chassis/suspension still being used under the entire fleet of Jaguar cars.

Glad to hear your a DIY guy because that's the only way to keep your up and running properly.

I have not and would love to. Thing is, that wild purchase I was talking about, well, it might as well be an str sitting in my garage. I'm assuming that the ls page is where I should post this thread?
