Hello everyone...Just coming aboard & wanted to test all aspects of the site!...I am a proud father of four boys & between full time work & parenting boredom isn't in the equation...Work at one of the local hospitals in central Ohio has a electronic imaging technician...Recently purchased a '00 Lincoln LS from a relative last week...Car sat for a couple of years & was driven only occasionally...After a quick tune up: new battery, air filter, oil change, thermostat & topped off the fluid levels I drove the car 10 hrs & over 500 miles w/o any mishaps...Unfortunately on the 4th it started overheating while driving locally around the city & I had to have it towed...Very ironic that it was registering "overheating" because the intake manifold & hoses were cool to the touch???...So I'm currently wondering if it's possibly the water pump that has possibly failed, radiator or overflow cap or possible relay switch to one of the fans???...New to the LS world so any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!
Many Thanks, Nativeboy4
