Need a Headrest Measurement

I am planning to design a new set of headrests for my 04 Thunderbird. I have a source for a set of Ls headrests for about 1/2 the price of a set of Bird rests from a discount Ford source. I have measured the distance from the outside of one headrest post to the outside of the other and have a measurement of 7 1/4". Can anyone tell me if the Ls has the same measurement? Thanks.

I just measured mine and the front are 6 3/8" and the back ones are a little over 6 3/4"

Maybe the 00-02 headrests are a different size. (i have an 06)

I think my Ls source is a '02, '03, 0r '04. Hopefully someone will get back to me.

FYI. I tried to install a set of 03 headrests into an 02 before. And they defintely fit into the holes with no issue.
