Hey!
I'm in need of a throttle cable for my MK8!
This stupid $10 part has caused me more trouble in the last week than it’s worth! lol
My throttle cable broke, I had the car towed (on a flat bed of course) to my mechanic and figured I'd just let them take care of it all.
Well... the dealer didn't have the part; the other 10 dealers didn't have the part... the warehouse the dealers get it from didn't have the part. I can't find the throttle cable locally at all!
Anyone have one? Or any good ideas about where to check?
I didn't go junk yard hopping yet... but I know that the biggest junk yard near me does not have ANY MKs and the few other smaller places don't keep car inventory and I haven't gotten adventurous yet!
