Need Factory cd player -01 LS

I desperately need to hear something besides the radio. I want to keep it fatory. I have heard many horror stories about aftermarket players messing things up, Plus I want to keep the steering wheel controls. I called the dealership and they quoted me ridiculous prices for both the in-dash player and trunk changer. I know for the in-dash I need a Alpine CD player made for either 00 or 01 lincoln ls.

Does anyone have one in great condition they would be willing to sell me?

Factory in-dash changer is preferred, but i will buy a factory trunk changer as well.
 
i have a factory radio out of an 2000 with the 6 disc changer in the glove compartment... or check ebay, it usually has alot of factory radios on it
 
All they currently have on ebay are some pretty beat up changers for sale. I have seen some nice in-dash changers there, but the sellers have very shady or neg. feedback.

I have the factory in dash radio with the cd changer in the glove box, in very good condition.
oh and my cay is an 2001 as well if you wanna know.

ive got one from a 2002 what you looking to spend??
 
The dealer said I need one from an 00-01 only. After 01 they changed some things. Looking to spend around $200. Needs to be in great shape though.

Your dealer is wrong. You can directly swap any 2000-2002 LS radio just as long as you swap it for the same type. There were two different types of systems. One was the Alpine and the other is the non-Alpine. The Alpine version radio will not work on the non-Alpine systems. At least in a direct swap.
 
I don't think I have the Alpine system. What do I need to make it work?

Silver and Kandy- Do you have any pics? What condition?
 
You don't need a factory changer, some aftermarket ones work just fine. I have a Pioneer 6-disc changer mounted in my trunk and it works just fine. It works with the factory head unit and steering wheel buttons.
 
I would be interested in finding a 6 disk in dash that has the SAT button on it...04 and up I believe. I would like to see just how difficult that would be to put in an 01 with the Alpine option.
 
LS Radio Buttons

Looking for a LS radio 2000-2002 (Non-Alpine version) that doesn't work. Just need a couple of buttons off of it.
