Hi All in LVC, Lincoln LS World,

You All are my last hope on finding these parts, I've been all over the web with no luck. I'm currently building a Factory Five Roadster (www.factoryfive.com) and am looking to use a '03-up Lincoln LS electronic parking brake setup. Mainly cause it would be a really clean install, plus it hasn't been done before in a FFR. But, I cannot find any parts out there other than brand new=$$$. Do any of you know where a totalled or parted out '03-up LS can be found? Or have any other ideas on where to get the electronic parking brake parts? Or never use yours and want to sell me your parts :) I'm mainly after the actual motor and cables attached to the rear suspension assembly. The switch and module are less important for my little project, but could also be helpful to have. I've called junkyard around me, and the closest LS is way up in NY somewhere and it was the wrong year(I'm near Philly, PA).

I've asked Max @ 5*, yes, he's big on our www.ffcobra.com forum too, and new parts, even with a discount are a little steep. I've tried E-bay with no luck, and the other Lincoln LS forum you have to pay to even look, if any of you have a membership and want to keep your eyes out for me that would be GREAT. So any other ideas or leads would be MUCH appreciated. Email works best for me, but replies or PM's are fine too.

If your are curious about the Factory Five project, see here for more. I'm using a '03 SVT Cobra Drivetrain in this 2500 lb car, should be wild :)

If you are trying to keep the cost down your only source will bhe a junkyard. You'll just have to keep looking and wait or pony up for new parts.

just go to www.car-part.com (national junkyard search) or buy an IRS complete off ebaby for around 250 (search lincoln ls rear)

What a great project! This is the first Factory Five car I've seen with the new set up for the 4.6. That thing will be absolutely hairy with that powertrain. Good luck on your search for parts. I think what you're doing will be a nice touch to the project.
