need help loud rattle

when i drive my car but only when it's really cold the front end make a loud rattle when i go over bump, but when it's warm out the front end really doesn't make any noise it a 1997 mark 8

upper control arm or lower ball joints id assume. Get the front end up in the air and inspect the parts for excessive play or slack.

Both upper and lower ball joints are notrious for going bad - dont wait too long it could be an unsafe situation.

Mine is having the same problem. But there is someone around my area who had a mark,and they said that theirs was the sway bar. That it came loose and they tightened it up and it quit rattling....anyone heard of that before?

That is possible. The only way is to look see.

Same problem. It was the upper control arms and strut rod bushings.
