K so here is my problem.:shifty:
I changed all my spark plugs about 9 months ago.
And Today 9 months later.... My check engine light came on. Obvisouly because of a missfire. I got it tested and it was cylinger 3.
I then changed the spark plug in cylinder 3. and put here back together. Then The next day I had a missfire in cylinder 5. So I then took her back apart again and replaced all the spark plugs cause they are all under warrenty. The spark plugs did have carbon on the plugs, I believe cause I did uses cheap gas during that month when gas was $3 a gallon. I know it was stupid though. But they all got replaced Today
I then started the car with all the new plugs and the dang thing is still ideling rough and engine shakes. I did reset the Computer and the check engine light has not came back YET.
I also did replace one of the ignition coils in cylinder 5 as it was enlarged due to the heat and oil in the chamber at the time. I did tighten the head bolts down and there has not been any more oil in that chamber.
I have no clue what to do next.
I did order 4 more ignition coils at $38 a piece. Going to replace all the ones that look bad.
Info about my car is below.
2000 Lincoln LS
3.9L V8
91000 miles mostly Highway.
Someone please help!!!!!!!
