need help on clear side markers

does any one have any pics of the clear side marers that have the back painted a dark color? i want to get them but i have the charcoal green and i want to paint the inside charcoal green. i was wonderting how it would look would it look darker and match or would it still be really white? i'm either going to do this or just paint it to color match.

whoa whoaaa, whos car is in the first link you posted up there Midas? FINALLY somebody has the clear side marker on a black LS with the chrome trim... i been lookin to do this but wasnt sure how it would look... is that guy on this site so i can get him to take more pics of it??

I did it on my black LS, but the install wasn't very good. The clear side marker sent to me didn't fit right. So instead of sending it back I tried to use a dremel and fix it, gave up and just installed them. It looked good from 10 ft away. Up close you could the see the gap between the lens and the bumper. So I didn't take any pictures.
One day going down the interstate I heard this banging against the front of my car. I pull over and the side marker lamp is hitting the side of my car the lens is gone. That sucked.
Before I lost the lens - I installed them once, took them out and reinstalled to get a better fit, used a bunch of expensive a$$ glue that only works one time per bottle - it still managed to come apart.
I had to buy new side markers lens, so I'm running w/the orange again. Having already spent the $75 on the clear lens, $30+ for installation (dremel, glue, epoxy, zip ties, etc) then paying $55 for new side marker lens, I'm taking a break. Next time I'm having someone else install them, total additional cost ~$115. (I rather use that $ for a new grill.)
It did look much better though, I won't be satisfied with the front end until I have the clear side markers on again.

That is a customer of mine. His name is Justin Greaves and is in Huntsville, AL. He was one of the first customers to buy the NON-sport clear lenses. He did a great job installing them.

Hey, I just found a pic I took a few months ago with the clear side marker on my black LS from the side. Check my garage. You'll see the tinted windshield also (4th pic top right).

I thought about getting the clears, but am not sure what itd look like on my sage LS. I do not think black would look good. That and the sport, non sport confuses me.
