Need help on questions about my 04 lincoln ls!!please help

This might be a stupid question but if someone could help a noobie out it would be much appreciated!! What year body parts example like hood bumber fender ext fit an 04 other than the same year parts? Or do the body parts have to be 04?

front bumpers are different (but can be swapped with a minor gap around the headlights), rear bumpers, and trunk lids are different (but as long as both are from the same generation, it will work), hoods are only different because of the lack of fluid nozzles on 2nd gens.

First gen being 2000 to 2002 second being 2003 to 2006. Just in case of severe noobness.

I just found all body parts I need it's same gen just a year off!

if you have an 04, then it doesn't matter if its one year older or two years newer, everything will fit fine (as for looks, there are differences in certain parts such as chrome vs painted trim, or different front bumpers LS vs LSE/06)
