Need help (Water pump install)

Ok well i dont really need help installing it, ive done that. But I have to bleed the system and well.... That plug wont come out... already broke 2 rachets and now stripped the plug itself. How else can i bleed the air out of the system.

heat up the pipe with a propane torch, and use a pair of vise grips to turn the plug out..
or, weld a nut onto the plug, i did that with the old one.. and then the heat from the welder loosened it up enough to come free w/o the use of the nut.. go figure..

I took a dremel and opened the square hole from 1/4 to 3/8''. That did the trick.

be very careful what you do from here. if you bend the pipe its going to crack, and youll need to find a new one. (took me 2 months to get a good one)

It helps if you put some anti-seize compound on the threads of the cap. this will stop the corrosion.

Thanks everyone i got it, i soaked it with some wd-40 and let it sit over night then just swapped from vice grips to channel lock pliers and it came right out.
