I want to put dual pipes on my 2000 Navigator, but I want one pipe coming out the driver side and the other coming out the passenger side, now the only way it looks like you can do this is by taking out the spare tire to come across to the driver side with a pipe. I would really like to keep my spare under there and still have pipes running out the sides, how can this be done? I know it can be because I've seen them done like this in the city driving around, only problem I haven't got to look under the trucks to see cause there always driving. The guy who is helping me said that you can't run the pipe to the other side cause you'll be affecting the air suspension sensor and a couple other gadgets he said, if you keep the spare where it is, please if anybody has ideas or even pictures of underneath to see how it was done or can be done I would appreciate it Thanks Jay

I have not tried that one but have a red 2000, I went with a magnaflow out the passenger side with dual chrome tips. It sounds strong and hp went up with the K&N I put in. I believe me MPG went up about .8, becouse I get about 17.4 to 17.9 mpg on highway. But you might have to take it straight out the back or go with a passenger side pipe. Make sure you ask them about your low end acceleration with dual exhaust, becouse sometime they will take away that while a pipe out the side performance exhaust will increase. But probably wont matter becouse Navs only have on muffler. But probably wont be able to do it the way you want out both sides. But check around. Good luck

Thanks for your feedback, I really want the two pipes coming out the sides of the truck. I want a real nice throaty side does your's have the real nice throaty sound with what you did to your exhaust?
