This is my first post,I like to say HI and this board Rocks...
Now to my problem
I had the 1,2 springs replace with the updated parts with Merion fluid
and the MLPS
Now the car has a Big delay shifting from First to second...will stay at 6000rpm for 3-4 second and finally shift into 2nd,do you think the tranny is bad or they screw up the 1-2 spring
Thanks
Mike :L

Welcome to the board......I am not too savy on the 4R70W, I do manual trannies, not autos. But there are some VERY smart people on here that can help you.

Yes the fluid was fine it has a 100,000 miles on it and its a 93
It shifted fine before I had the work done
Thanks
Mike

I would go with a screw up on the 1-2 spring if this was NOT happening before the 'upgrade'. Might be a broken or missing spring or springs switched. I'd have them drop the pan and look it over. It is obviously not right so they should have to look at it again n/c.

:W :I sounds like someone screwed up.take it back or drop the pan yourself.what was the reason for the 1-2 repair.either the cover got nicked or the accum seal.anyway something is not right

Thanks again
Mike
