a couple of week's ago i posted a problem i was haveing . i was having with my front airbags i came to the conclusion they where bad . every morning when i come out it's slamed to the ground..
i did not try to fix it yet cause of no money . but i would drive no air ride message . so yesterday sitting outside allmost allday i had whent out earlier in the day came home parked the car . so about 3 to 4 hours later im standing near the car and all of a sudden i hear ..sssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. and i look and the car hits the ground . if this was a bad airbag leak wouldn't it go down over time?.
and if not why would it hold air for like 4 hours then vent can it be a bad valve somewhere ?.
but wouldn't it be on one side being the front is independent on both sides not like the back. i have the car for like a year never realy did any magor work on it .. if yall can help out please let me know.........

p.s sorry for the long post

Sounds alot like what happened to my car. I bet if you bounced the front end of the car, it would go flat...I used to do that...park it and it seemed ok...then either sit on the front or bounce it ,and it would go hisssssssss....... Look here for good explaination>>> http://www.americanairsuspension.com/mk8-hiss.htm
I think both sides sink because 1 strut can't handle the weight of the car by itself, but I would guess that they are both bad...usually, if one is toast, the other is not far behind....your car is 12 years old (so is mine) it's probably time.

come to think of it my brother was leaning on the car when it happened .
just weird it would do that i guess it is time fore new air struts  just thaught it was maybe a selenoid hoping for a cheaper fix :( guess that wont be the route . first the door handle .then the kid scratching the heck out of it .then the ignition problem now the airbags guess we will see what goes next :D ........ ps thanks for the link and your help........ chris

No problem...I went through the same thing not too long ago.
