Anyone have pics of the rear spindle/lca? I want to see which way the bolts and nuts are facing? Im puting the Mark LCAs on the Bird.

Lower control arm bolts must be installed with the Torx Heads facing
the rear of the vheicle (83-113 lb/ft)
also they say you should mark the position of suspension arm
failure to do so will result in bushing wind-up on assembly causing
misalignment

damn i gotta flip the front one then. the cast iron bird arms are different in a few drastic ways where it meets the knuckle

I thought I had some back when I picked my 94 up from Mike's place. There were pics of Mike and I swapping out the rear end of his 98. But all the pices from that post are gone... Someone must have deleted all of Mikes pics..

mark rear

Did not see this earlier....here is the pic....

Happy holiday

thanks max, we looked on the parts computer here too, but we all know how accurate the ford parts pics are, i knew the rear-most one the head faces the back just wasnt sure of the front-most

i hear ya on that, sometimes you spend more time looking at the diagram than you would if you just crawled under and looked, haha

Well....you could shovel the snow :D

It would prolly like to go for a drive too

i wouldn't want to take the mark into dekalb in this slop either, although there aren't very many college kids in town now, so it's a bit less likely that someone will pull out in front of you....:)

Does anyone know also, where we can find "hot to's" or illustrated pics on doing things like changing thermostat and so fourth on the 93-96 mark VIII's?

Ummm, how do you fix it if you didnt mark the lower suspension bushing prior to disassembly?? Uh not that I screwed it up or anything...
