hi, im a newbie when it comes to the LS v8, i just bought the car cheap because the owner thought it blew a headgasket, but it turned out to be the water pump...impeller cracked in half,so i fixed that, then next issue was misfiring so i replaced coils and plugs so thats fixed too,now im left with P0108 ,replaced egr valve, didnt help, replaced air flow sensor,no go....what else is there to check on those cars for that code?????

The wiring to the EGR valve assembly. (That's where the MAP sensor is.)
The vacuum lines to the EGR valve assembly. (These hard plastic lines are will known to crack.)

i checked the plastic lines and they looked fine,i checked the wiring to see if it rubbed somewhere but it looked good.....pulling my hair on this one.

i might ask too if anyone had problems with aftermarket egr valves throwing the p0108,got mine from advance....???!! i just went out to the car with my scanner to check the barometric pressure and its within spec.

Same here.... Those hard plastic lines get old, brittle and crack in places you won't notice and will look fine. I would do the cheapest solution first and replace the vacuum lines with rubber vacuum lines and connectors. IIRC, the parts cost me less than $15. I used the old connectors. There is a post about it here...... Somewhere.....
