Need Some Help where to buy some small Parts ...

Hey Im new to the forum and I need some help if you guys can help me out ...


Basically I got a 2002 Ls v8 used at a good deal with low miles but it needs some small things replaced so I need some parts.

1. The Driver side door handle from the inside is broke and wont open from the inside, a little ghetto but figure shouldn't be much to fix ...

This piece should fix it right ??

are there any other places to order things like this or am I gonna pay top dollar ?


2. Also I need a new glove box. The olld one is a lil beat up and wont open lol ... found one on ebay that looks good but dont know if I should pay that price for something used

3. I cant find this damn small ass piece ... The passanger side AC vent (small plastic, circular vent) is all cracked and I cant find this :q:q:q:q no where online.

need some help.

also another small piece the passenger side visor holder where it clips up broke off, dont really need it but would like it


also I wana start figuring out the cost on getting my front end upgraded.

2006 lse bumper, clear lights with angel eyes and all Hid lights ...

can someone hook it up with links on all the stuff I need ... I dont know where to get the best price or where to order but I wana start getting some things 1 by 1.....

Also where do you guys shop for upgrades, like bumpers, lights , grills and what not ?
 
It's a Gen1. They are starting to show up in Junkyards around here. I would say go get friendly with a local junkyard if you have any.

Otherwise it's dealer or places like ebay.

that's what I figured, junk yard ...

Lincoln don't have a site that has parts or anything ? how would I order from a dealer and are the parts that much more expensive ?
 
Besides The junkyard, Dealers and ebay you could check Craigslist for Lses being parted out.

Buying OEM parts from a dealer = Expensive. Buying OEM parts from a luxury brand dealer = More Expensive.

You can order parts from Tasca Parts or Fast Parts Network. There is also fordparts.com which is Ford directly.

what about upgrades, where do you guys order from ?? If I get a LSE bumper do I need to get a certain kind of clear lights ??

I see you guys always talk about gen 1 or gen 2 lights ...
 
Gen1 00-02 gen2 03-06. You can get the lse bumper from tasca along with the gen2 headlights. You can keep ur headlights but there will be a gap between the headlight and bumper. New gen2 oem hids are almost 1400 a piece. read the sticky at the top of the page named please read first, it has a ton of threads all about stuff you may want to know and its easier than searching for them.
 
EBAY is my best friend, there are a ton of parted out LS's. Even if the listing is for a different part. Just email them and ask if they any other parts.

hey I need some help for a part I cant find

my back seat clip broke to hold the seat down, you know how it clips in.

it keeps popping off so I assume its broke, where can I find this piece? cant find it on ebay and I dont know what to search on google.


just got my glove box and door handle put in, all I need is the ac vent and this back seat problem and inside should be cool.

Throwback, I have the part you need, I'll take a look at how it's connected tomorrow and show you the part.
 
have another small problem, they keep coming lol

my driver side window gets stuck on the rubber lining, it gets out of place and sometimes i cant roll it up without messing with it.

small problem but where can I get the rubber lining replaced?
 
your problem isn't the lining, it's most likely the window regulator inside the door. these are a common failure part on the LS. I've been through 3-4 since 01.

I have one out of an 01 with over 100k if you want.
 
Throwback did you install the door handle yourself and if so estimated time of install and tools needed . Thanks. Just broke mine in half.

nah it has to be the rubber lining cuz its all :q:q:q:qed up and its whats causing the window to get stuck. its all folded and ugly

nah my buddy charged me $20 to install the handle and the glove box. good deal I thought.

I know he really struggled with the door handle.
