Needed

I need a right side mirror for a black LS, 2002. The paint is peeling like crazy and looks like hell. I contacted Lincoln about it and about the peeling clearcoat on the front bumper, but they turned their nose up at me and said that the paint warranty stops at the mileage warranty, just like anything mechanical. I think that's crap, but oh well. I've searched ebay to no avail, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would think for the cost of a new mirror you should just have it repainted if thats all thats wrong with it. The mirrors take alot of abuse anyway, especially black, you could most likely paint it yourself and have it match pretty close.

Yeah, you are probably right, they can't be that hard to remove and take it somewhere.

I have an black '02. I have painted a few things (grille,spoiler,keypad,bumper) and its pretty easy to do a decent job with just spray cans and clear coat from the auto parts store. Everything matches great.

Yeah, and I guess worst case scenario, if I screw it up, it's only a mirror, someone could do it right for pretty cheap, I would think.
