New and need help

hello everybody, just bought myself a 2000 ls v-8 in silver cause I always wanted one and like all good things in life A LITTLE WORK REQUIRED all in all not bad 1) radio works -beautiful sound , its the alpine BUT the face does not light up but I can live with that 2) a minor amount of rust bubbles at rear quarter wheel section and that will be dealt with in the spring when it is warmer 3) the dact is goofy with hot on pass. side ,even in a/c mode and fine on driver side.
from what I have already read on the site ( Imagine if you will a ls without the internet info to help,Scary very scary ) tells me it is probable dccv. are there any good tech articles on fixes or replacement and does anyone know if there are Haynes or Chilton manuals available out there I have yet to find one.

Welcome. Check ebay for manuals on the cheap side or you can buy them from the company that makes then for 170. Prob your dccv. I can't remember if a step by step was posted or I would've posted it already. Guess we have to wait for joejr to chime in. Nice looking car, look like it was taken care of, from the outside atleast.

Thanks and the interior is perfect not bad for a winter car. I have found a guy selling a dvd repair manual on the local kijiji site and will let you know if it pans out
