I own a 1990 Mark VII. My dad was the original owner and it was his work horse. I don't really pay attention to the milage at this point. The engine still sounds good. It still charges in the lower gears, but tends to soften out and grumble in the upper gears. Is this a sign of old age? Or should I look into some tuning issue? I bypassed the cat converter will flowmaster 40s but really haven't done much to soup things up. I like this car. This Forum has pulled me through some real head scratchers and I owe a lot to this group. I really don't earn a lot right now and I try just to maintain the car that I like with some form of pride and pat the dash when I come home.
Cheer,
Kevin
