new camera, test pics

my wife just bought a new digital camera so i took the purple 93 i painted down to the baot ramp near my house and took some pics. its a sony cyber-shot DSC-H10 8.1 megapixel. this thing is really nice, looks like a regular camera, and has tons of different lenses you can by like fish eye and wide angle and many others. the pics it takes compared to my other camera are just night and day. i have no clue how to work it so i just turned it on and took a few pics, the clarity is unreal compared to our other camera. heres a few, until i know how to work it this is how they look!

The H10 is no joke. I've only sold one but man its a nice camera. I was looking into buying my mom the sony H3 when I was going to buy her a digital camera but I scored a super deal on a Kodak P850

I just bought a Kodak Easy Share Z12185 about a week ago.Haven't used it much but it sure does a lot 12 megapixel and a 5X zoom.
Hope it does as nice as your does.

this is the first camera i have taken pics with , that has the 10x optical zoom that doesnt wreck the picture when zoomed in, my other camera zooms in decent but all the way and the pictures either gets grainy or blurry, not this one, my wife was across the house and zoomed in to an article on the fridge and the writing is so crisp you can read it in the picture, she was a good 30 feet away. unreal!

Cyber-Shots are nice cameras,
I bought the s750 7.2 MP for under $150
Love it...... the menu is so easy to use and its point and shoot no think time.
Took my kids up into the mountains outside Denver last week and I had to have a new camera.

This Picture was off moving horse and came out awesome

That is a decent camera. For the price the smaller Sony's sell more. It is good though when Kodak and Sony outsource their lenses to schneider kruznack and the likes.

It seems to take nice pictures. I just don't know how to put a picture on a post like they do here. So I just quite trying. . Thank You Danny

Depending on how big the pic is you'll have to resize it. (8mp is a HUGE photo, like 22x30 big)

What I do is open the picture in paint, hit ctrl+w and size it to 25% of height and width.

Then when posting there is a button called 'click to upload photo' click that, then browse, then select the folder where you have your pics, click the pic, then open, voila done.

Can't be much easier

Or if you have photoshop, just crop to 1024x768.

Won't upload picture. I not sure but could the Magapixels be my trouble? They are set at 12.0 should I set them at 6.0? for posting pictures.

Nice shots Jamie. Get closer to the subject next time. It makes a killer photo even better. It would really make that paint job jump too.

I Loved my point and shoots I just out grew them with the drag racing and action shots I had to go to a Nikon D-50 which I am forever learning.
