heh, to each his own... although 28 seconds isn't a big timespan given the song changes pace quite frequently

for a band from rome they have a unique sound IMO

beatcrusher has always been one of my fav songs from them

Not what I listen either. You can keep the little wayne sh!t also. I can get down with some Pantera from time to time. i guess I'm get old cause all that loud stuff just gets too busy for me.

also, judging from your short times on spray... 3200 stall on mickey thompsons = low 12's on 1.7 60's, DO EEET!
 
Already do 3200-3500 stall and 255 mickeys intsalled. The mickeys didn't help any on the short time cause the spray comes on right after the 60'. best short time was a N/A run. I'm thinking about setting the IMRC back on. Maybe thats hurting me???

hmmm, I'm thinking you should tune the spray in a little bit better... from my experience with tuning the OHC modulars you "should" be able to spray safely RIGHT after 3,000RPM... on a 3200-3500 stall I'm thinking you should ALMOST be able to spray right off the line after WOT if everything is tuned properly, with mickeys you "should" be able to plant it just fine and the 8.8 should hold up pretty substantially

unless for some reason your mickeys aren't gripping enough to get the full advantage of the stall RPM... which I don't see happening, your car should be cutting 1.7 short times with EASE if you have a stall and DR's with the spray
 
You may be right, I got the DR's this weekend and only one run on the spray. I normally load the converter which doesn't let it flash as high. I have to wait to arm the spray until its above 3000. I'm careful not to hit it too early. I spray the car alot so I try to be somewhat responsible when I use it at the track. I'll give a little time to keep it all together. The car would probably be faster if I launched off idle but I'm running a braket class so the RT is more important. The tires hook real good with a very small burnout.(only to clean the rubber,no smoke)Turbo is next:D
 
The converter is a low buck one, it doesn't launch flash as high as advertised. Only when driving does it flash up to the 3's. It works but not ideal for drag racing its tired now on lock-up.$$$$$$$
