You gotta get yourself some bigger rotors and calipers with those wheels. The wheels make the rotors look super tiny. The red calipers don't help much with their tiny size either.

But oh well, looks nice... I guess.

Frogman is right,

BUT none the the less, it looks GOOD!! My 98 is due for new brakes, so I'll have to get to looking around.

Definately.........................

I think that you should go out and pull them back off, put them in a box, and send them right to me. (I have stock wheels) They would look much better on my car. No you do not have to thank me, I'm there for ya man.

They do look good, could be a little bigger, but then again you did say that you only paid $200 as opposed to $800 for bigger rotors and brakes.

Looks good.

Looks great , are those from r1 off ebay.
Did you remove them to paint ??
I have drill and slotted on my wifes car .... and you can't see them dam stock wheels

Dosen't going bigger roters and brakes mean changing the spindles as well? If not, what are suitable replacements?

Cobra Calipers bolt right up on the front. I have Dual PBRs on 13" rotors. Granted, I have the Mustang hubs, but I'm sure any machine shop can redrill the rotors for the 5x4.25 Lincoln bolt pattern. The rears can also accept mustang rotors and bigger calipers with a capiler relocation bracket. Someone over in TCCoA has/had them for sale at one time.

Nice job. What seller from eBay did you get those rotors? There are so many now it is hard to choose.

Looks good , that last picture looks a little off though , is that the rear caliper ? I think it might look better black .

Thanks for the cheers and boo's, yeah they are R-1's. and they don't look so small when you see them with your eye's, the camera doesn't do them justice. like I said it only cost me 200.00 and not 1000.00. I will post some better pics shortly....

:D thanks, I think it looks much better than the stock rotors and the only colors they had for the calipers were red, blue and black. I thought that it might look too RICE, with painted calpers, but it looks excellent. my wheels are 17's and I don't think think the rotors look too small. now if I had 18's or bigger it would look ridiculous. I think the red calipers looks excellent with the silver paint.:D I also painted the back of the rear pads black, they were red, but after looking at it I decided to paint them black so they contrast with the red calipers I also painted the caliper brackets black, that way there isn't too much red, and it is the brightest red I have seen!

the new brakes are working great and look even better. I am very happy with the performance of them and most of all the price... 125.00 for the rotors 75.00 for pads and 15.00 for the caliper paint kit. 190.00 total cost.:D

I painted the rears on the car. the fronts I painted the sides of the calipers off of the car and the rest on the car. you could probably paint the front calipers on the car too. yes they are R-1 brand rotors.

I wanted to update and say that now the brakes are broken in, there is a noticable improvement over the stock set-up. the car stops much faster now and there is alot less fade. I highly recommend this as a great low budget brake improvement. I used Performance friction carbon metallic pads on the front and ceramic metallic on the back :wrench
