Went from no Lincolns to two Lincolns in two weeks. Picked up a beautiful 2001 town car cartier and will be picking up a 1998 mark VIII this coming weekend in Michigan. From the pictures I've seen this pearl white loaded mark should be some car. The seller mentioned there's only one problem with the car....the heater blender door just recently broke. He has an estimate to get it repaired for $240. Do you fellow Lincoln enthusiasts think that's a good price? or do you know someone local in the Chicago suburbs who could get it done for less? I was planning on asking the seller if he could get the car fixed and I would reimburse him.
I would greatly appreciate your comments and advice.

240 is way to cheap. If he can get it done for that let him do it. If not ur looking between 500-750 at a shop. The part is only 50 but you have to pull the dash out part way thus alot for labor.
