After reading the Black wheels post, let's just say I got a little excited.
Here's my plans, I'd like advice from the pro's...

Wheels
1.Stern ST-1's Black (Sorry Ken lol)
2.Paint the Calipers either black, or silver

Lighting
1.Clear Cornered Headlights with angel eyes, probably keep the black bezel due to black wheels, or paint it silver. What's your opinion?
2.Tinted Tails
3.Try to find clear side marker lenses

Other
1.Tint
2.Replace the Orange insert from my Mclaren Grille, with the stock Black and Chrome one
3.Maybe Rotors

I have like 1500 to blow right now, that should cover the wheels and tires
Then Christmas, my job, etc.

What do you guys think? I also have a painted pinstripe, blue and black, shouldn't matter.

sounds like a good plan. thats gonna cost alot. but go for it. you wont be dissapointed. also if ur oging with red calipers i might get red emblems to tie em into something, just so they dont look all alone.

I think I want silver calipers, try and keep it to minimal colors. What do you think, black headlight bezel or silver.

i would go silver. i have an all black car and would never paint the bezels (maybe if i was bored, lol) but you cant tell that theyre painted, but if u go silver itll stand out. definatly go silver calipers and a silver emblem on a silver mclaren grill. so that the only black youll have is the rims and the tails. of course ur gonna have to paint the surround also.

I was thinking black bezel, so the front matches the sides and back. And not a silver insert, the stock Black one with the Chrome lincoln symbol.
Already have the full painted silver Mclaren.

1500ish in cash right now. But, there is one more means of cash. Check out my sig. :slam And I'll tell you for a dirtbike, she's very fast. Haven't been riding in a while but I love her.

I like the Stern wheels and would love to get them if I knew 100% that they would clear my StopTech brake kit. The Stern's are a great looking wheel.

Oh I thought you ordered them. Ken, Important Question, are tinted tailights, like your tint level, illegal in New Jersey. Does anyone have a link for me.

I didn't order them because Stern couldn't guarantee they would fit. So, I didn't get them.

As for the tinted tails, go here:

Look at the last question. I have had local cops behind me here in Tennessee and they haven't pulled me over. You can see the light through them very well even during the day. Just as long as you don't go too dark. The tint I have on my tail lights is the Light/Medium tint. I think that is dark enough.

Yes I agree, dark enough. The stern wheels that are made for the LS definately fit over the stock brake setup don't they?

They will clear the stock brakes good but they could not guarantee it to fit over the StopTech calipers I have. They are HUGE!

Ken, I've been reading laws on the tinted tailights, and they are allowed if you can see them from 500 feet away. Is that true in your case? Also, I've read that someone can say they didn't see your brakelights due to the tint if they rear end you, and it will be your fault.

KD00LS, you're in college right. Where do you do all this work on your car?

I like the wheels as well. I would have got them as well if they made them in a bigger size (19 or 20's) in our lug pattern. When do you plan on getting them, I want to see how they will look on the LS.

I'll be painting the calipers and changing the emblem in october, then ordering the wheels and everything else in december hopefully. Might even get the tint in october when I go home Columbus Day Weekend.

Just checked KBB for my dirtbike, says 3300, with the mods I have, I'll say 3500 at least. I'll probably be ordering big in december so look for that.

Attempted to do a photoshop lol, those wheels would be what it would look like if it had 20's. Give me a break its my first try haha. What do you think?
