Owner of a 01 LS for nine years wonderful car when everything is working correctly but can be exspensive to repair when things break,I do as much maintenance as I can but sometimes ...well you know, you have to go see them and do they put it to you.after searching this site for twenty minutes I found information that could have saved me hundreds if not a couple thousand dollars lots of good info here and people seem very nice glad I found it,well this week end I will replace my thermostat car has been overheating sometimes ,but if i let it set for a couple minutes it's ok (like thermostat sticks somethime)My question, is it necessary to drain cooliant to replace thermostat,I have done it on some cars without having to do so.
