Does anybody know where I can get brand new headlight lenses for my 88 LSC? Mine are all faded and cloudy. I tried cleaning em but they still look like s**t.

Yes, they are still available from the dealer if you want to pay the $$$! To maintain them, wax the lenses when you wax your car.

You are going to have to spend a pretty penny for new lenses. Wax is good for getting the lenses to stay clear, but if they are yellowed then you want to step it up. Try using rubbing compound with a random-orbit buffer. This worked well for me. If you still want to get that "brand new" look and the compound just isn't enough, do this: http://www.lincolnsonline.com/article19.html.

I have to attest to how well the cleaning instructions posted above work. did them on my 92 cougar (which had headlights that looked more like amber fogs when on), and it worked very well. Almost as good as new. Took about 45 mins per side on the cougar (thats including removing and reinstalling the headlight assemblies)

Before you wax or polish... try spraying some "purple stuff" type degreaser on the lenses. You'll see the yellow sh*t run off like magic. Rub it in with your hand and rinse it quickly. Take care not to let it get onto the painted surface below the lens.
A lot of the yellowing comes, not only from damaging Sun rays, but from the extreme heat of the headlight bulbs over time.
Too bad they didn't make these damned things out of glass, like some other cars.
This should be a saftey defect, but to this day the manufacturers don't seem to care. Such BS!
