Problem is,

This is an interference engine. If you broke something in the valve train, the piston took a hit.
Yep I know, won't know damage till I tear it down, she cranks with fine now and everything seems to be normal. Can't tell by eye if its a little off on the time.

Anyone know how to reference the cams?

If I'm going to tear it down alot of options come in from just fixing what needs to be, to going bigger.

This POS may just get put back together, not to run but to trailer it to one of my storage garages for a while till I feel like spending time with it again, trial seperation. This car has been the least dependable waste off money I've had. I've throw together part cars and gotten better service. I like it, but I have to rethink how much. I stopped driving it daily cause it seemed to not like it.

Still...what happened? That I need to answer, or at least get it to a better conclution then I have now.

If I'm going to throw $5000 at something this winter or even $500 my CobraII will go faster on it either way. Its been waiting 2yrs for me to pick up where I left off.

Its easier to blow off the anger when its not a daily driver. As long as I took to detail everything, tinckering with it a few more months isn't going to kill me. I'm more pissed I took the time not knowing this was going to happen now have to back track.
