I just purchased a 2000 Lincoln LS V8 Sport with 45,000 miles and i have the following questions:

1.- I took it to get smogged and noticed that on the smogg certificate it says SINGLE EXHAUST, i was under the impression it was a dual because i see to tips coming out from my rear bumper, do u guys know if these cars are single exhaust or dual?

2.- For everyday driving sunny condition (In california) should i have my TCS button on or off?? i dont want to mess it up, please tell me how u guys us yours, thanks

- dual exhaust with h-pipe stock
- leave TCS on - if your on the track and are a better driver than the car is then turn it off.

I'm a new owner as well (actually it's for my wife). From what I can tell its a true dual exhaust.
Ours has the sport package which I think looks very slick.

It is a true dual. If you look underneath, you have two catalytic converter with two mufflers. Two oxygen sensors to control each side of the engine bank.

It is dual and there are 4 O2 sensors 2 pre-cat and 2 post-cat. The pre-cats are observed for AF mixture and smog testing if the state uses obdII to test exhaust.

Re:

SO SHOULD I GO BACK AND TELL THE GUY THAT HE MADE A MISTAKE AND THAT HE NEEDS TO CHANGE IT TO WHERE IT SAYS DUAL EXHAUST? OR DOES IT NOT MATTER?
