My mother got a new vehicle and the dealership wouldn't give her but $16,000 for an 02 white 37k mile Premium LS V-8 with 6 disc cd changer and 12 speakers. Only thing it doesn't have that I wanted was heated seats :) I have an 11 second street car, so I am not going to do any performance mods. The only thing that I do not like about the LS is the stock grill, makes the front end look lame.

She owed $18,500 on it and I took over payments on this sweet car. I'm a big guy (6'5") and I fit pretty well. I can't get over how nice this car is for daily driving! No road noise, awesome stereo, and gets decent gas mileage.

Is it just me or do you not see a lot of LS's on the street? I see a lot of Lincolns but have yet to see an LS in the past few days going through Ft. Worth. (I lost count of the number of 300's)

Anything special I should know? I did a little research and the body style has been around since '00, is it changing for the 07 or 08 year?

I'm done rambling, I hope to be around the forum for a while :)

Sad to say there won't be an '07 body style, the LS is out, as Ford falls down its slippery slope of hell. Where they stop, I think we all know, its called Chapter 11.

Anyway, :W :L

Check out http://www.lskoncepts.com for a new grill along with many other nice mods for the LS. Enjoy your stay here.

Welcome man!

Unfortunatly, there won't be no more LSs after 2006, but hey we have em so who cares.

Yea it would be good to change the grill, I think you should go with a 04 LSE grill that has a colored surround and chrome vertical bars, that grill looks very beautiful. Or you could always get Trenz vertical or horizontal bullit grills.

Yea, there are not too many LSs around, especially modified ones.. We do have a some LSs on 20s in Cali, but some other states mostly in north have modified LSs very rarely.

Other than the grill, you could tint the windows, get cleared lights, some rims, HIDs and some other stuff.

Check out LSkoncepts.com, there are a lot of aftermarket parts over there.

What color is your LS, by the way, do you have any pictures?

welcome to lvc!!! :invasion:

this board has a great bunch of people.

having spent 6 months of my life in Texas, i noticed that the state doesn't have many nice cars. i was in san antonio in 2001 for a week on vacation, and i didn't see one thunderbird(i drove a tbird at the time) the entire visit. however, i did see a cammaro with scooby doo seat covers :). i guess people in california are into cars a little more

looking forward to seeing some pictures of your car

Welcome fellow LSer take time and scope out www.lskoncepts.com they are having a 10%off sale that ends 12/31, so hurry cause believe me they have some killer stuff for the LS.
