Hi all,

Just a quick note to introduce myself. Tomorrow I take delivery of my new black-on-black '06 LS Sport with all the goodies! I'm really tickled ... a local dealer here in San Diego (Witt) is passing through the dealer incentives and the sale price of my $48K MSRP LS was $37,322 after rebate. This is a heck of a lot of car for the money and IMHO blows the competition at this price point away. The other car in my short list was the Chrysler 300C, but the LS's tight handling and quiet ride made it the winner.

My first mod will be a spoiler. I'm thinking the one with the tail light that I saw on www.fordaccessories.com ... anyone want to share an experience with this spoiler and/or vendor?

Congrats on the new LS! Definitely take some pics of your new ride. As for the spoiler you might be able to find one cheaper on eBay or contact Bill Jenkins with Team Ford at 800-791-6436. He may be able to get that spoiler much less.

Hello and welcome and good luck w/ the new LS. That sounds like a good deal to me. Hope it all goes well.

Check out this thread

Make sure to check out the socal census thread. We have a local meet coming up on March 18th at the J st marina. Congrats on the new LS. Hope you can make to meet.

Congratulations on the purchase, if you want to come to Orlando, FL and leave the keys in it and walk away, that would be great. Have you thought of getting a lip spoiler vs the factory oem style?

Thanks for joining the forum, I hope you'll post some pics of the LS.

lucky guy you, them 06's look meeeeannn, i love them... im thinkin about goin with the spoiler with the brake light as well... i ordered it before Christmas and they said it should be arriving sometime in MARCH!! so im waiting to get that and put on, definatly a good choice to put on a black LS in my opinion

good deal... does it have the navigation in it?

Yeah, everything but heated rear seats. Guess dealers don't order that option much in southern California. ;)

The touch-screen on the Nav is SO cool! Makes it 10 times easier to use than the little joystick in my wife's G35. Don't know how the voice is going to work, couldn't demo that during the test drives. It's definitely RTFM time when I pick it up tomorrow. I'm not going to be worth a damn at work tomorrow afternoon. LOL

Naw ... I'm gonna make you work for it. Couldn't be THAT hard to hot-wire, though! ;)

Will do, thanks! It'll still be bone stock in March though. But I was looking at some very cool black-painted wheels (18 x 7.5) online, I wonder how long I'd have to sleep on the couch if I upgrade the wheels right away?
