Hi, I have a 2000 Lincoln LS with a v-6. I have a problem with the air bag light staying on. Well, I removed the steering wheel air bag, and checked all the wiring that was visible. No problems that were visible. Then I removed the steering wheel, and the clock spring. All looked ok, and I performed a continuity check on the connection at the air bag to the connector at the other end. The check was good on the clock spring, leading me to the air bag. The air bag checked " open" with an ohm meter which is not good! I removed the shorting pins before the test, and I checked it twice, so I believe the air bag is not functioning. Do you believe that is my problem or could it be the RCM?
Thanks!
