How's it going everyone? Just joined the forum. I'm a '90 Linc Mark 7 Blass owner. For the last 6 mos. I've been a used car tech at a Toyota dealer, but for 10 years prior to that I was a Ford tech with 9 of those years spent at 2 different Lincoln Mercury dealerships.I was a heavy-line/engine tech for almost all of my tenure as Ford likes to break their techs up into specialty areas.I sure miss the Taurus/Sable/Conti 3.8s of the late 80's/early 90's...
Made money on those...Did engines,timing chain tensioner campaigns,rocker cover gaskets etc on Mk 8's,lots of Navs and whatever else.Never saw too many Sevens though.We had a couple mk 7 regulars however.One lady had an 87 with about 200,000 on it that would stop by for any little problem,And another guy with about 250,000 on an '85 who would not give it up! I put an ABS accumulator in his once which was not cheap. Anyway,love them Sevens!
