Hi everyone,
New to forum, I was hoping to find some help / advice for my 92 Lincoln Continental. This is the second time writing this, I some how hit the back key and wiped out what I wrote. So sorry if it looks like I missed something.
My car is a Lincoln Continental 1992. It has a sagging drivers side. The side will not rise like the rest of the car. I did some research online, it pointing to a leak in the air hoses.
I tried Ford dealership to purchase some new lines, they no longer have in inventory, The car is too old ????
I tried searching online, I can only find information about a conversion kit to replace the air suspension with the shocks. I would would like to keep the car with the air ride. The conversion kit sounds too expensive, plus I like the smooth ride of the car the way it usually is.
I can't find any place to buy the air line hoses. Does anyone know the specs on the air line hoses, what are the length and diameter of the lines?
Maybe I can use a different hose instead, is it possible to use lines from Low riders hydraulics use? Is that too far out there?
My repair manual doesn't say a whole lot. It just has general information.
Thank you in advance for any direction you can give me.
I really like my Lincoln, I would like to get it back on the road again. It looks so sad, sitting in the driveway....
