Hello all...A proud Mark VIII Owner. Owned a 91 Mark VII,97 Mark VIII and loved them both...So I sought out a 1998 Collectors Edition Mark VIII. I live in NY and transported the car from Florida. 66,000mi. for 4500$ mechanical sound and in need of some cosmetic care.

Go figure, it's my dad's CE!!! Welcome to LVC Anthony! I'm Alex, we spoke on the phone a few times during my father's transaction w/you. I'm very happy to hear the car went to a great home. I wish so badly I could've kept that car! Guys, I can vouch for this man... This is strictly a Florida car! I had my eye on this car for over 2 years, the man never wanted to sell the car when I had the cash to buy it, I'm assuming he was attached to it because it belonged to his father. When I end up broke & unemployed, he puts a for sale sign on the car, my father has the cash & buys it but being Mr. Cadillac, he simply couldn't wait for me to come up with the cash & posted it on Autotrader because he doesn't like Lincolns. Along comes Anthony & buys it. At least I'm glad it went to someone that knows how to appreciate what he has. Glad you are part of the LVC family!

Hey Alex ..thanks for the greeting and kind words..A funny story about the car. It proves that I like it....Here goes...The car was at the body shop getting the windshield done. It was raining heavy that day. I took my wife's car to work so she had to pick it up for me from the shop. I told her to get it home and under the carport. As I'm driving home I had to make a few stops. I'm driving one way and coming the other way is a MARK VIII? I said to myself "Wow what a really nice MARK!" As it made the turn I said "Hey that's my car? I followed it to the mall and my wife gets out? She locked herself out of the house and went to get something to eat. Sooo not knowing it was mine at first I really liked it....LOL.

That's exactly how I felt about that car everytime I used to drive by it. Trust me. I will never forgive my dad for that... He never understood what I meant every time I told him he has a Collector's Edition in his hands. Never the less, like I said before, glad it went to a great home!
