Hello everyone,
My name is Sean. I'm 20 years old and from the Central Valley in California. I recently became the owner of a nice 1990 Lincoln Mark VII LSC. It is Clear Crystal Blue Frost with 85k miles. I am the third owner. Both the previous owners were older gentlemen who took good car of it. I picked her up for $2,700.
Currently, I am catching hell from many friends for selling my 2001 Mustang V6 for this car. Oh well, they don't drive it, I do.
It has a few problems that I need to iron out before she is in tip top shape. The A/C needs a recharge, the power locks do not work (might just be a fuse), the power lumbar only goes one way, driver's seat needs to be repaired, and the cruise control doesn't work. Despite that long list, everything else does work. Now I just need to learn how everything works in it.
My immediate plans for it are a pair of Thrush Welded mufflers (what are the stock pipes diameter anyways? 2 1/4 or 2 1/2?) and a tune up. This summer I am planning on swapping in a rebuilt T5 5-speed into it along with some H/C/I work. Are these mass air or speed density stock?
Anyways, I'm sure I will be posting more questions as they pop up. Thanks guys!
