I bought this car with the Idea of using the running gear for a Different car.
82 k on the clock.
Now that I have been driving it I dont think I could do it.

Welcome!

Hi there Ford nut! I thought i would write and say hello as i also recently bought a 93' identical to yours. These are lovely, unique cars and i have yet to see another blue/blue out on the road. At first the blue interior didnt appeal but it has grown on me alot! Have fun with it...

I like the car alot had it for about 2 months.
They didnt make too many in this color combo,I dont the the production numbers.
How long have you had yours 93'blue on blue ?

I got mine 10 march. im not aware of the production numbers either but if you look up the sales brochures on the lincolns of distinction website it lists all exterior / interior colors for each year of the mark. Aquamarine is listed as being rare. I havent driven mine much yet because i am in the process of fixing the suspension and a couple of other bits n bobs. Im hoping to have it sorted and through nj inspection by the end of the month.

You got yours about 2 weeks ahead of me.
Lucky here no inspection in Minn.
Air suspension shot ?
Mine had spring kit installed b4 I bought it.

No inspection in Minn? Wow! Yeah the air bags were shot and the compressor seized so im doing a coil conversion, rear shocks and upper wishbones. The other things im doing are replacing the grille and polishing the headlight lenses as they are very yellow!

No inspection in Minn? Wow!
Ya Jesse The Body Ventura Killed it off in 2001 I think.
Yeah the air bags were shot and the compressor seized so im doing a coil conversion
Do a search on all the forms before you do from what I have read you can fix the air ...some people swear the air ride is the only way to go.
I will never know unless I buy again.
MediumD That's a very cool color, welcome ford nut
Thanks !

Hi ford nut! yeah i did alot of research ref air ride with mixed conclusions. All four of my bags had leaks, then the compressor stopped working so i decided that coils and new rear shocks would be better for me. The spring rates of the coils is supposedly similar to that of the air springs so the new dampers should make the biggest overall difference to ride quality. I dont doubt that either setup in new condition is very good, but coils are cheaper and more simple.
