Hello. I've owned my '94 white pearl Lincoln Mark VIII from 2000. It's been my trusty daily driver, more like my daily beater, especially the last few years.

With the exception of changing fluids regularly, even checking oil samples with Blackstone (always "your engine looks great, continues to amaze, very little wear..."), I honestly have not done much to it at all.

I put around 100,000 miles on it, now reading 189,000. The car was from MN and then subsequent tours of Florida beaches and a caribbean island caused rust to take hold wherever moisture existed. So, the floors look solid, but the windshield and back glass leak, doors and rockers severely rusted and various parts on the underbody and chassis look really bad.

So, I never put the money into a car not worth restoring. I never modified it for performance, except for the coil spring conversion to keep it alive - Eibachs and Konis made a huge difference.

Lately, the airbag light flashes, traction control intermittantly, overdrive disconnect button stopped working, ac buttons imploded a long time ago (but AC always blew cold) - but overall it just kept running. Overall an amazing car that I'll miss...

I'll post what happened in the appropriate area. Catastrophic engine failure???

Welcome :waving: I read your post about that. Hope it work out to be something easy to fix. It's a shame you didn't find your way here sooner.

That's a great looking LSC. I used to live in Columbia (USC), but prefer it out here in the country. Driving is better.

Thanks!

I just moved here recently from the Charleston area. Big difference there!
