Hey everybody i became the new owner of a '98 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC on May 18th, Midnight Grey with the really light grey/tan interior (name?) and Octastars. It only has 53,000~ miles and it is in an almost mint condition, found it on autotrader.com, it was in West Hollywood. Im 20 years old and been wanting to get my hands on an MN12/FN10 for my first car and it has finally happened. We paid $11K which probably to some might be high, but i need to start building my credit somewhere right? So i just went for it, of course my parents helped out a bit. And im mexican...and no im not gonna kill my Mark VIII by putting 12 inch rims with 10000 spokes, and drive it with a shot air suspension, this thing is gonna kill ricers and everything else, eventually….
I attended Universal Technical Institute in Rancho Cucamonga and in the almost 1 1/2 years i was there i put little over 33K miles on my parents '97 Sentra, which ive grown to respect very much since it was flawless during that time, and now im working at Chrysler....trust me i applied to Ford dealerships, they never called me though... In case somebody wonders were in CA im at....im in the middle of nowhere lol, Mark VIII population is about 3-4 none with any performance mods, i live in Westmorland, CA, east of San Diego towards Yuma.......its in Imperial Valley, and it gets REALLY hot and humid out here, since last week weve been over 100 degrees already....anyway, theres thousands of miles of empty highway since were in an agricultural area, ready to be driven in.........and yes i had some people ask me if it was a brand new '05

:L

Congrads man you got a nice car there I recently puched a 96 Mark VIII LSC w/ 60000miles that I'm waiting for to be shipped. Anyways I love that joke about12in. 10,000 spoke rims thats classic don't forget the little chain steering wheel J/K.

First of all welcome to the LvC , good looking car there bud, take care of it. Jamler ( Jim ) has one just like it.

What's up man?

I'm about an hour from you in Yuma... I pass by there everytime I go visit my parents in Valencia..

wow! Midnight gray...with O-stars...AWESOME car, so-cal newbie! I am in Nor-Cal, have a 94 and a 97 LSC. I LOVE the midnight gray Gen 2's. I was looking at one locally about 6 months ago...was very tempting.

The light gray interior is called Light Graphite...you have an awesome color combo...just keep those HID lenses clean, and remove all the valley-bugs off them at least once a week.

Enjoy it. sounds like you've earned the seat...now respect it, and dont abuse it. These cars will be VERY good to you, providing you are VERY good to them first!

thanks guys, yeah how did i forget the chain steering wheel......lol.......and Santo thats cool theres somebody out here with a mark viii in the desert, and yeah, bugs seem to like the Mark's HID's whole lot more than the Sentra headlights hehe.....

Hey man, welcome to the site! Congrats on the car! Awesome choice, especially for your first car. Sounds like you've been doing your homework as well. I'm impressed all the way around. :Beer

WELCOME BRO... Las felicitaciones en el coche, Mejor Color hizo en mi opinión. La buena suerte y welcom a LVC
