New owner of 99 d'Elegance: Question

Folks:

Just let go of my 98 Mark VIII and found a great sedan ...99 DeVille d'Elegance. What a ride!!!

Question: When I shut off the engine, I still hear faint static out of the speakers. Even after opening the drivers door.


Any body else experience this??

Hmm, not sure, but there are other things that run through the radio harness like alarm and maybe even interior lights and crap. Could have something to do with that.
