Car is almost done

7067-vi.jpg

Still needs the side skirts on Monday

Also gotta do the front brakes, rotors, caliper paint and rims in the morning.

Looks nice, are those HID headlights? if so what kelvin? Love the doors man, keep goin. btw is that the Razzi body kit or Wings West?

The lights are just the angels eyes. I took the pic with the flash on. I am still running the factory bulbs but I have an HID kit for the low beams and the Hoen bulbs for the high beams on the way.

Nice pics... keep us updated i want to see a pic of the finishing product

thats pretty hot, looks like the razzi body kit. good luck man

looks sick.. looks alot like rollins LS cause of the color and the kit.. but it looks good.. there is only 1 thing i would change..

ur interior needs to change.. i know ur going to do the sude on the headliner, but i would prolly hold off on that.. i dont know what year ur car is.. but i saw a car here that took all the moldings that are wood and the TV surround and painted it to match the car.. mine is black so it wont look too great.. but urs is red and it would really stand out.. and once i matched the interior with the exterior.. i would change that one part of the car i dont like.. the top half of the door... that grey doesnt go with ur suede.. if u keep it on ur gonna have like 4 colors on ur car when the doors are up.. red, beige, grey, chrome.. (chrome will stand out more when the rims are on).. it would look sick if u do the headliner AND those parts of the doors in a certain color... obviously red would be too much.. but maybe if u match the leather u already have.. OR.. u can dye the leather right? something along those lines would be sick..

PS.. im not tryin to hate. i think the car is amazing.. i jus figured that u should have my opinion now while u have a chance to notice and really think about it and change things if u dont like it.. later on it might be harder.. i got quoted at 40-60 per door to put suede on it.. and my headliner, pillars, rear deck and sun visors were for 400.. so our price range is pretty close.. keep me posted.. and nice pics!

everytime I see that razzi kit I like it more. Do you think it would look nicer on a black car? How does that thing get put on? Do you have to mold it?

No molding is required. I am not sure how he installed it, but I think he used an adhesive and screws on the ends.

The whole kit is installed, the lights under it are wired as well. Rims and brakes are done.

He is working on the finishing touches for the trunk setup and I pick up the car tomorrow.

Razzi Tips Mounted Wed.

Tint on Thursday

Man, I can't wait to see that thing at Carlisle. If you have no other reason to go, go to see this car!

I got my HID kit in the mail today, gotta install it tomorrow.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it really won't be done until the day before I drive to Carlisle.

We need more people to register for the show.

I think it looks great! Can't wait to see it in good lighted conditions, with the rest of the body kit on it.

Bozz

Yeah the light in the shop does the car no justice. It has been raining up here for 40 days and 40 nights though. I can't remember the last itme the sun was out.

The kit is done, looks hot. I get to drive it tomorrow after work finally.

atleast he got the clear corners..:N

i think it looks good.. something else i noticed was that u still have the black on the door pillars.. i would paint them to match the car.. or get the chrome ones to go with the chrome trim on the body kit...

Pics!! Please ASAP

Pics of what??

The trunk setup?

It is being molded and painted. I pick it up Friday. I will post pics of it after that. The stereo setup will not be installed till next week.

Lots of wiring involved to bring everything together.

4 Kicker L7 Speakers
2 Kicker 1250 amps
Pioneer Avic-Z1
Pioneer Satellite Radio
Pioneer TV Tuner
Visor Screens
Headrest Screens
Xbox 360 in Glove Box
Pac unit for steering wheel controls
Backup camera in keyhole
Optima Yellow Top

I put all the door speakers and the console speakers in today to save some time. I was going to try doing it all myself but thought better of it. Seems pretty involved.

didnt u get the box already from this guy? what are u molding?

Red LSV8 in MA you are at the top of my list for photos this year at Carlisle. I'll shoot both film and digital and you can pick from the proofs. See everyone at Carlisle 2006!

I don't want a one piece box that can never be removed from the car. He is making all the seams tighter so it looks like one piece. It also needed some more sanding and finish work before paint.

make sense.. what did u decide about the door pillars? and the color on the interior of the door panels? i know its a tight schedule for carlisle.. but i'm talkin about things u can do for after the show

I would have to redo the whole dashboard to get rid of that grayish color on the doors. It is there too.

I don't know what I am gonna do about it right now. I worked a deal for the suede at $200 for the whole setup if I do some advertising for the guy so I am gonna move forward with that for now. I will prob. change it after a few shows.

Tint, HID kit, Hoen High Beams, Optima Yellow Top, and alot of wiring were done today.

I am having a big problem with my exhuast tips though. They are Razzi tips and look sweet but nobody can get a lift under the car to raise it and weld them on. The need to be expanded so they fit the magnaflow setup. I have no clue how I am gonna fix this. Went to 10 places today and no luck.
Very, Very Frustrating.

i figured that interior MIGHT be a mission.. my interior place mentioned that i can paint the dash.. they do good work but u cant beat 200!

what about the pillars?

as far as the exhaust is concerned.. i dont have one.. but cant u get some sort of connector? I have gone to discount before when i was doin the gas tank on a 64.. it had to be redirected because the exhaust was bein redone... long story short.. the gas hose i bought needed to be wider so I went and bought an exhaust metal peice that goes from 2.5 inches to 1.5 inches and bought the clamps to make it fit.. u can also weld the peices in ur case.. maybe that can help u out? unless u need to go TOO big.. then it wont help.. another thing would be to change the exhaust tips.. but im sure u thougth about that one

Ps.. u can sell the exhaust tips here.. i still have my stock exhaust :D

i mean u can give it away her... cough cough
