I'm trying to remember, but I think these cars need to go to the dealer for that. I bought my son one of those Ford wireless keypads and I'm sure we had to take it to the dealer for programming. You need to take ALL your fobs in. They will program FOB #1 and FOB #2 (for seat memory) I believe they can program something like 4 FOBs at once, but only the two will work the memory seats.
Your owner's manual will tell you whether or not you can do it.
By the way, the wireless keypad is a very nice option to buy. We mounted my son's under the trunk right above the rear license plate. It is completely hidden. The only draw back to that is you have to "feel" the numbers because you can't see them.
