ive been saving this idea for awhile and decided to do it now. this is my family crest, everyone has one based off your last name, its called your ancient coat of arms. mine dates back as far as 1406 as far as i could research, my last name is colby and i'm english ( but not like martin lol ) well yes i am but i sound normal lmfao!!!! i added my two kids names on top of the crest, excuse the blood its litterally 2 hours old, my coat is blue and yellow, everyones is different.

once it heals i'll update a pic, the yellow doesnt show like it will because of the blood.


and this isnt my first tat but it is the most painful my god this one hurt bad.
 
Looks good. Heritage baby! What's your other tat? I don't have any but have seen a few I'd get. My son ships out for Navy boot camp on the 25th and thinking about something to honor him.

Now you just need to go on that site that sells coat of arms stuff and get the mug... the keychain... the place mats etc etc! Lol.
 
Looks like good work. Yeah, the calf is probably the most painful place I have gotten a tat also. The one on my spine didnt hurt half as bad as the calf.
 
Nice. I have a tat of a sun around my right nipple. That hurt like a mofo.
 
well after bitching last night about how much it hurt, it was much worse trying to sleep , and even more painful today at work. since its a muscle, i stand all day at work, the past 2 days i have been building a huge 13 foot long by 8 foot high iron decorative wall with a door in it and between jumping off the table, bending down, and standing on that leg it hurt like hell today. it felt like i got kicked in the leg by a horse lol. i just got back home from the tattoo shop again after my buddy jake got more done on his sleeve and it finally doesnt hurt, it feels as if i didnt even get it done. finally relief!!

here it is a little more than 24 hours old, and no blood lmao!

nice work!! looks like you bleed like me, ALOT!! the wifes wraps around to the back of her calf and she said the "inner knee" (i guess thats what you'd call it) was the worst

i got one sitting left on my half sleeve, more dates (rip grandma) generic "gasser art" and filler etc
 
well from what my buddy Reb says about tattoo's is the worst pain for a woman is right behind the knee and for a guy its the chest plate. a few years ago he tattoo'd the wrestler " the big show " when he was in town to visit hulk hogan and he did work on his chest and said even he had some problems dealing with the pain. he has pictures while he worked on him, the dude was wedged in the seat, he is huge. Reb said he could have squeezed Reb's head with one hand lmfao.
 
Hurt????? I have fallen asleep during two of my tattoos....which is a problem due the possibility of jerking when you wake up.....I have close to 20 hrs in the chair. Both times it was a first for the artist....neither noticed till I started snoring.
 
well everybody's body is different, i have 3 tat's between both of my arms, two on my biceps and one from my wrist to my elbow and none of them i would say hurt, very easy to tolerate, but i'm only admitting what i went through on my leg, it f-ing hurt no doubt about it. i'm sure i will get others that also hurt, and others that wont, it all depends on location and one's body. another artist who works with Reb, Quinn has a celtic band across his face, from ear to ear, under his eyes and across the bridge of his nose and he is a 40 year old man and said it brought him to tears, he said he'll never tattoo his face again lol i wouldnt anyway but thats me!
 
i got my coat of arms put on my back as well when i turned 16, never got it fully finished though, i was running late for work and had to leave before he could color it in. that was 5 years ago and never gone back. have managed to get a few others.
did you guys hear about that girl that was getting a star tattoo on her face and fell asleep and woke up with 56 little stars all over her face. i read that on cnn a few days ago. and she got pissed because her boyfriend dumped her. funny
 
I thought it was funny that she says it was the tattoo artist's fault. She probably got exactly what she asked for, then went home and daddy got pissed, so she blamed it on the tattoo artist.
 
quinn says unless you are totally messed up on drugs there is no way you can fall asleep while getting your face tattoo'd. and if the artist only got paid to do 3 stars, why on earth would he have done more work for free. she wanted that many, she got that many, now her family is pissed off so she came up with a B.S story.

yea i dont see how anyone could fall asleep, especially your face, there is no way you could fall asleep. seems like it would be vibrating your skull aside from the pain.

I don't think I could sleep having my face done (I wouldn't get it done), but after the first couple hrs, It is numb, and I fall asleep.
 
she is gonna try and sue martin, thats her plan. dumb beotch. i saw her though and the stars look cool, she's a decent looking girl, they did the stars classy its not like a sloppy prank.
