2004 LS V6 seems none of the power door locks work with the remote or button on the inside of the door I can hear where it sounds like it's trying to lock/unlock but none have enough strength to actually complete the task. I'm assuming the actuators are weak/bad? Are these hard to replace, cost, etc? any advise would be appreciated.

Your assumption is reasonable.
You'll need to know if your LS was made before April 04, or after to get the correct door latch/actuator assemblies. They are about $100 to $240, depending on which door and if before April or not.
I'd say they are about a medium on difficulty.

wow, I can't believe that they all failed...

thats like winning the bad luck lottery.

Well, the driver's door actuator is driven by the driver's door module. The other three locks are driven by the rear electronics module. It could be the two modules have bad relays, or some combination of failures, but it probably is all four actuators based on his description. I assume they failed one at a time, and not all at once.

oh sorry, I agree fully (based on hearing it try but not able to get the job done) from that description... and I couldn't imagine them all quitting at the same time. I was merely shocked at the probable being all the actuators failing only because it seems to be such a rare issue (at least more than most other cars). of course you see somebody asking about it every once in a while, but nothing like how often I see lets say as much as honda civics. it is a notorious problem, and not only do a fair amount of them come through my shop but a lot do have multiple faid ones...

then again, I could see something like environment effecting them. maybe they (while still working) were never lubed up, he is from texas, they are known for being hot, dry, and dusty in parts... I guess I could see something like that slowey wearing them out over time.

Had a sticky one twice; 2000 V6. Some spray lube generously applied solved the issue.

Actually the right rear one is the only one that works...the other 3 "try" to work. I will try some spray lube first. can't help but try it.... other than that really like the car. bought it from my wife's aunt. Original owner. everything else is great. have all service records for it. car in really good shape...garage kept. $3000 figured I couldn't beat it. 148K on the clock
