new to lvc.. 02 ls 5 speed. please help overheating when I run the ac

My car runs great. Iv had it for about a year now but when I run my ac the temp goes up. I got a code for the hydrochloric cooling pump.. ive already sunk over 4 grand into this car because I love it. Anyone have any answers or suggestions?
